ImagePRINCETON PARENTS RECEPTION - JUNE 4, 2025

Join us for an opportunity to meet and mingle with parents of recent grads, current undergraduates, and new admits. We’ll have soft drinks, cocktails, and light hors d’oeuvres. Weather permitting, we’ll be outdoors. This event will take place at the home of Wendy '88 and Stephen Ban '84.  

Wendy Otis Ban ‘88 S84 P23*24 attended Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook and graduated from Princeton in 1988 with a degree in Architecture. While at Princeton, she was captain of the women’s swim team. After a career in construction project management, she raised two sons, and is now Co-President of the Board of the Village Treasure House, a North Shore consignment shop that donates its profits to organizations supporting women in need.

Stephen Ban ‘84 S88 P23*24 attended Shaker Heights High School in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and graduated from Princeton in 1984 with a degree in Economics. He was a cast member in the Triangle Club and was music director of the Nassoons, Princeton's oldest men's a cappela group. He retired from a career in marketing and investment management, currently serves the boards of several civic and not for profit organizations, and is an adjunct Professor of Finance and Sustainability at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Busines

Their older son Alex earned two degrees from Princeton, a BSE in 2023 and an MEng in 2024, both in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. While at Princeton, he was captain of the club hockey team, and a member of the world record setting Princeton Electric Speedboating team. He now works in the Pratt & Whitney division of RTX Corporation.

Their younger son Jason is studying Psychology and Neuroscience at Davidson College in Davidson, NC, and is a left-handed pitcher on Davidson's baseball team.
