Volunteer Opportunity (Kid Friendly!): Cradles to Crayons

The Community Service and Family Events Committees are co-sponsoring this opportunity to serve the community with fellow Tigers and/or family.

We will roll up our sleeves and help provide local children with the basic essentials they need to thrive at home, at school, and at play. Volunteers work in stations to inspect, sort and package donations alongside other individuals and groups.

Volunteer shift from 10:00 am - 11:30 am. Afterwards, there will be an optional gathering from 11:30am - 1 pm at the Burning Bush Brewery, located a few blocks away. Rain or shine, this family friendly location offers indoor and outdoor space to catch up with your fellow Tigers over a drink or light bite.

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities.

-To register, complete the Princeton Club of Chicago site RSVP using the registrant's full name, and then register and sign the waiver on the C2C site here using registration code a0R3b00000aPTJg. Please use each registrant's full name to allow easy cross verification on with Cradles to Crayons.
-Please consider bringing donations with you during your volunteer visit or making a monetary donation. For more information regarding items accepted, visit here.
-This event is limited to 20 total registrants.
-Ages 5+ are welcome.
-Free Parking is available onsite.
-The Giving Factory is located at 2500 W. Bradley Place, Chicago IL 60618. The GPS will not take you directly to the correct entrance. The Giving Factory is behind Climb Zone, Power, and the other businesses in the front of the complex. Please go all the way to the back side of the complex near Elite Baseball Training and Windy City Ninjas and look for the purple Cradles to Crayons sign.
