The Princeton Alumni of New England (PANE) are hosting a webinar presented by Top Tier Admissions, a company co-founded by Dr. Michele Hernandez P19 that specializes in college application consulting. The panel will feature Dr Hernandez, Anita Doar '06, and several former Ivy League Admissions Officers from the Top Tier Admissions team.

It’s no secret that Ivy League acceptance rates have hit historic new lows. The extremely high entrance criteria at the most selective schools have produced a ripple effect, and now all the top 50-100 schools have tougher admissions standards. The hyper-competitiveness of the most recent application cycles has shifted the admissions landscape and the move towards test-optional admissions has led to dramatic increases in applications everywhere (Princeton received a total of 37,601 applications in the last admissions cycle). PANE's own Anita Doar '06 will be joined by her team of college admissions consultants from Top Tier Admissions (TTA) as they contextualize these competitive trends, break down common myths about the application process, and share their observations about how COVID-19 has reshaped college admissions.
