"Pop of Orange" Artist Talk with Sheila Arora '05 - June 5, 2020

 

Still feeling that orange glow from reunions? Join us for a virtual painting chat called a "Pop of Orange". Sheila Arora '05 will talk about the work that she has been doing during quarantine. She will showcase her mini-series of five small works on paper that each use orange in different ways. In addition, she will share her sketchbook which has a hint of orange. Enjoy an evening of abstract paintings and creative conversations!

Sheila Arora '05 is an intuitive abstract painter who specializes in acrylic and mixed media. She is represented by Thomas Masters Gallery in Chicago where she had a solo show "Dreams Come True" in 2018. Sheila has been featured as a Style Maker in Luxe magazine and her paintings have been displayed at SOFA Chicago. She has an engaged audience of 45k followers on Instagram, and she is partnering with the paint brand Liquitex. Sheila graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University with a degree in Economics and has an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
