INDIAN COOKING CLASS AND DIWALI CELEBRATION - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2016

Learn how to make Diwali delicacies and other Indian favorites from Naveen Sachar of Naveen's Cuisine in Wicker Park! Hosted by PCC and A4P (Asian American Alumni Association of Princeton).

Diwali is the biggest and brightest festival in India. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness. Come celebrate with us by learning to cook Indian favorites from an expert chef, Naveen Sachar. A lifelong cook, traveler, and photographer, Naveen has loved the flavors, spices, and simplicity of Asian cooking ever since he was a young boy growing up in Northern India. Cooking has always been his passion — from his days as "official taster" in his mother's kitchen, to acting as designated chef for his college and grad school roommates, to serving up cooking classes and catering on the side even as his career as a software engineer was taking off.
