Fall into the Spirit(s) of Orange and Black

As we welcome the autumn season (and look forward to the Tiger Ball the following week on 10/23!) please join The Princeton Club of Chicago for an evening celebrating the growing Orange Economy and Black-tie events!

Immerse yourself in the color, energy, and imagination of Lisa Distelheim Barron’s ‘84 recently opened Distelheim Gallery and the inaugural showing of the Orange & Black Collection – a bold, contemporary collection inspired by two colors that hold special meaning for the Princeton community.

Hear from gallery co-founders Lisa Distelheim Barron ’84 and featured artist and co-founder Jefferey Cornett, who will share the story behind the gallery and the deeply personal journey that shaped the collection. Created in part during Jefferey’s ongoing battle with Stage IV cancer, the work reflects resilience, reinvention, and the determination to continue creating – even when life offers no easy path forward.

In addition to the amazing Princeton color-themed art, come and enjoy the essence of wellness with some words of wisdom from Amy Beth Treciokas ‘87 – owner of Yoga Now, Enterprising Women Magazine award winner, inaugural GoldmanSachs cohort member, and internationally respected yoga and wellness leader.

And finally, we will be hosting a whiskey tasting and discussion courtesy of Ben Bornstein ‘92 and Prospero Spirit Funds, along with beer, wine and NA refreshments as we explore how creativity moves beyond the canvas to influence culture, enterprise, personal expression, and even the traditions surrounding our favorite black-tie occasions.
