Lynne Davidson, PhD, MPA, teaches nonprofits how to measure the social value of their programs. Recent projects include immigrant services, programs for people experiencing homelessness, violence prevention, and wellness initiatives in underserved communities. Lynne also serves as an evaluator for Lever for Change (the MacArthur Foundation). As Executive Director of 2020 MicroClinic Initiative, Lynne led efforts that significantly improved maternal and neonatal health outcomes in Kenya. In communities where maternal mortality rates had approached 1%, the MicroClinic program reached thousands of participants with zero maternal deaths. For her work in Kenya, Foreign Policy magazine named Lynne one of the 100 Leading Global Thinkers and the Women Economic Forum recognized her as an Iconic Woman Creating a Better World for All. Lynne is the mother of two sons in Southern California, serves on several nonprofit boards, and in her spare time enjoys meeting the dogs of her Chicago neighborhood.
