The Future of Local Media in Chicago
(Ivy+ event in partnership with the Stanford Club of Chicago)
Join us for a discussion about the future and importance of local media for our neighborhoods and our democracy.
We'll feature a panel discussion with Brady Walkinshaw (Princeton '06), who founded Noisy Creek, a company dedicated to invigorating beloved local publications like the 55-year-old Chicago Reader, and Sarah Conway, Editor in Chief of the Chicago Reader and 2024 winner of a Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting. [NOTE: The addition of one more panelist is forthcoming.]
The discussion will be moderated by Reggie Ponder (Princeton ‘84), who is a film critic at WBEZ and other media outlets in addition to being a board member of the Princeton Club of Chicago.
Drinks and food to be served. It'll be a great time… We promise!
If you're eager to learn more before the event, you can read about Noisy Creek in the New York Times and Chicago Tribune.
This event is co-hosted by the Princeton Club of Chicago, Noisy Creek Inc, and the Stanford Club of Chicago.
