black creativity at the griffin museum of science and industry

     Saturday, February 21, 2026

Celebrate Black History Month with ABPA at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry (MSI)!  The Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition is the longest-running exhibition of African American art and features paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, mixed media, and more by Black artists, including youth ages 14–17.  The program celebrates Black innovation and inspires today’s youth to explore STE(A)M in pursuit of a more equitable, creative, and community-rooted future.

Let’s meet at 11 am at the museum and tour the exhibition.  We’ll then head to the Museum Kitchen around noon to grab a quick bite together and discuss the program! We look forward to seeing you there!
