Volunteer Opportunity: Assemble & Distribute Backpacks to Kids in Need. Pizza & Drinks Party
Need Foundation (kinf.org) and ‘86 has underwritten the costs of packs & supplies nationwide. We need to collate the school supplies across 100 packs, and bring them to designated nearby CPS schools. A fun but worthwhile undertaking. Monetary contributions are certainly welcome, esp from those who are unavailable. Each assembled set of supplies valued around $45.
Teens welcome with parental oversight, as alcohol present.
Even if you can’t attend Weds evening, we will need assistance in dropping these off on subsequent weekdays.
'86ers and adjacent classes welcome to show unity, but we invite all Chicago Tigers & family members to pitch in and enjoy.
5:30-6pm arrival, end by 8:30pm

Max 16 for assembly Weds eve., need 2-3 drivers for dropoff to local schools Thurs & Fri.
