On May 3, from 4:00p-5:00p central time, the Princeton Alumni Association of Essex and Hudson counties (PAAEHs) will host its 3rd annual Multi-City Virtual Speaker Event featuring Professor Jo Dunkley, Princeton Professor of Physics and Astrophysical Sciences, presenting:

"Our Universe: An Astronomer’s Guide"

From Professor Dunkley's bio:

I am a Professor of Physics and Astrophysical Sciences at Princeton University. ​My research is in cosmology, studying the origins and evolution of the Universe. My major projects are the Atacama Cosmology Telescope and the Simons Observatory. I am also a member of the Rubin Observatory's Dark Energy Science Collaboration. ​I have been awarded the Maxwell Medal, the Rosalind Franklin award and the New Horizons prize for my work on the Cosmic Microwave Background, and shared the Gruber Prize and the Breakthrough Prize with the WMAP team. My book for the general public, Our Universe: An Astronomer's Guide, was published in 2019.
