pwn-logo-squarePWN: PRINCETON WOMEN'S NETWORK: COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENT - FEBRUARY 17, 2018

The Princeton Women's Network has organized numerous volunteer efforts across the nation.  In Chicago during the month of February, PWN and the Princeton Club of Chicago invite alumni, parents and friends to gather for an afternoon of service as we partner with Cradles to Crayons.

Nearly 200,000 children in Chicago live in poverty. Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. Cradles to Crayons supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need.  To learn more about Cradles to Crayons, click HERE.
A volunteer shift in The Giving Factory warehouse involves hands-on processing of the donated goods that flow in on a regular basis. Each station in the warehouse includes inspecting, sorting, and packaging donations to ultimately be distributed to children in the community.  We are also collecting items to donate that day.  If you would like to contribute, please scroll down for a list of needed items and donation guidelines.
